Course Description
Equality and Diversity is common practice for any organisation, it is important to adopt it as one of your core values. Poor practice of this in the workplace is often due to ignorance rather than intent. The workplace must demonstrate good practice in every aspect. These issues can be complex, especially when it comes down to challenging poor practices in your workplace, you should be able to do so without fear of recrimination.
This course will teach you;
- What Equality and Diversity is
- How the law views Equality and Diversity and how your organisation should be encompassing it
- What is meant by the ‘primary’ and ‘secondary’ dimensions of diversity
- How to be effective in promoting Equality and Diversity
- How to recognise the poor practice
- The Do’s and Don’t’s of positive behaviour
This course is a half-day course. It comprises a mixture of engaging activities. Once the course is completed, you will be asked to complete a simple multiple-choice assessment. You will be given a certificate to acknowledge the passing of the course.
