Overview

It is essential to ensure that a risk assessment has been prepared and carried out before care can be taken of a person. Health and social care workers need to understand how to carry out risk assessments in the workplace. There is a correct method to risk assessment; this course covers each step.

It is easy to overlook possible hazards that might contribute to injuries or someone falling over in your care if you haven’t been trained to look for them. These types of injuries can most often be prevented by a trained member of staff carrying out a proper risk assessment.

This course takes 30-45 minutes to complete. It comprises a mixture of engaging activities. Once the course is completed, you will be asked to complete a multiple-choice assessment. You will be given a certificate to acknowledge the passing of the course.
