Overview

When working in the adult health and social care sector, you may be responsible for ensuring those we care for receive appropriate fluids and nutrition. This course will help improve your knowledge of good nutrition and wellbeing.

This course takes 30-45 minutes to complete. It comprises a mixture of engaging activities. Once the course is completed, you will be asked to complete a multiple-choice assessment. You will be given a certificate to acknowledge the passing of the course.

• The factors that affect and influence our natural habits
• An evolution of malnutrition – what it is and how it affects the body and mind
• An introduction of the ‘MUST’ Screening Tool and how to use it
• The effects of dehydration – how to identify and treat it
• How to promote good health and Nutrition in the workplace
