Overview
This course will give delegates a greater understanding of the supervision and appraisal process.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will:
- Have an understanding of the supervision and appraisal process
- Understand how to carry out effective supervision and appraisal
- Know how the process improves the delivery of care
- Have an awareness of what supervision documents may be used
- Understand the importance of accurate record-keeping and confidentiality
- Know how to manage difficult situations and behaviours
- Have an awareness of legislation which is relevant to completing an effective supervision
