Overview

The Data Security Awareness course is designed to increase learners’ understanding of how to keep data safe and secure within their relevant workplaces.

This course covers areas of data protection and information security, while exploring relevant legislation, regulations, principles, and standards that govern how data is gathered, stored, and used.

The course supports learning of how these laws apply  to learners’ everyday work, as well as practical steps to take to protect both workplace and personal data.

This course also highlights simple precautions that help maintain data safety in all aspects of life.

This course takes 30-45 minutes to complete and compromises a mixture of engaging activities with theoretical knowledge, and enhancing learners’ understanding of data security.

Upon the completion of the course, there will be a multiple-choice assessment and once achieved, a certificate of acknowledgement will be presented.
