Overview

Having people in care means you need to understand possible dangers that can cause harm. Something that falls under this umbrella is substances. Some substances that may be kept in the same building as someone in care can be hazardous and pose a health risk to everyone in the building.

This course equips you with the knowledge of what lies dormant within the workplace and how to inform others of its danger. Prevention is better than cure, and the better informed the staff complement is of what resides alongside them, the better their chances of evading injury.

This course takes 30-45 minutes to complete. It comprises a mixture of engaging activities. Once the course is completed, you will be asked to complete a multiple-choice assessment. You will be given a certificate to acknowledge the passing of the course.
