In care, the basic principles of infection control are crucial in maintaining health standards in the workplace. You need to understand your responsibilities regarding Infection Control. With primary, standard adherence to hygiene and infection control as a matter of regularity, many instances can be avoided.

In this course, you will obtain the knowledge and skills to understand;

• Your obligations and responsibilities as either an employee or employer
• How diseases are transmitted
• List of types of infections and how they spread
• The correct way to hand wash and use gloves
• How to dispose of waster properly
• Discuss how to respond safely to a range of different infection control scenarios

This course is available as a half or full-day course. It comprises practical and theoretical learning. Once the course is completed, you will be asked to complete a simple multiple-choice assessment. You will be given a certificate to acknowledge the passing of the course.
