Overview

You may be faced with supporting an individual who has Diabetes. You must know the three main signs of symptoms where a person’s sugar level is getting low—knowing how to recognise them and what action to take is crucial to a person’s health. If not treated properly, it can lead to blindness, heart failure, kidney failure and lower body circulatory complications.

This course equips you with the confidence you need to know the knowledge and skills to deal with Diabetes. When you know what signs to look for and how to deal with an emergency, you’ll be able to offer the best care for an individual with diabetes.

This course takes 30-45 minutes to complete. It comprises a mixture of engaging activities. Once the course is completed, you will be asked to complete a multiple-choice assessment. You will be given a certificate to acknowledge the passing of the course.
