Overview

This course is designed to increase learners’ understanding of trauma and how to care for children affected by it. It explores they key principles of trauma and the impact that overwhelming stress and traumatic experiences can have on a child’s development.

This course takes 30-45 minutes to complete and compromises a mixture of engaging activities with theoretical knowledge, enhancing leaners’ understanding on caring for traumatised children.

Upon completion of the course, there will be a multiple-choice assessment and once achieved, a certificate of acknowledgement will be presented.
