This course is designed to give a better understanding of Dementia while also increasing the skills and knowledge required to assist people who suffer from this condition.
Participants are given detailed instruction on how to care for people with Dementia and the type of activities to arrange for them. This course also focuses on how to handle personal care as well as managing unusual or difficult behaviour.

- Caring for someone with dementia
- Eating and drinking
- Dressing and personal care
- Washing and dressing
- Using the toilet and continence problems
- Managing unusual/difficult/aggressive behaviour
Course duration and assessment:
This training course is available in a full day or half day format, both conclude with a written assessment of knowledge and successful candidates will receive a certificate of successful completion and achievement.
